Tag: Knowledge-based Progression

Games that are difficult or impossible to replay or un-spoil, as the main progression system involves knowledge acquired while playing the game and retained in your brain instead of your save file. These are the kinds of games where spoilers are a significant issue as everything learned before playing the game is something that can’t be learned while playing it, and as such my reviews of these games may be vuage.

    Chants of Sennaar

A (mostly) puzzle game about language. Specifically languages you don’t know. And if you’re thinking “oh this sounds like Trunic,” then you’re a little mistaken because the main goal of the game here is to learn and understand the languages. The game helps with this.

    Tunic

Fox game fox game fox game. So in this game you play as a fox, and this makes me happy because I like foxes, foxes are the best little critters, and I may or may not be a fox irl writing game reviews by bashing my pointy snoot against the keyboard. That being said: Steam:…
