A new place to post my thoughts on games.

So back in early 2021, my good friend RustyFoxxo (Twitter) put out a broad post asking for indie game recomendations, and I took this as an excuse to just share all the cool games that I have played.

However, now that Twitter is on the verge of imploding due to a certain narcisistic billionaire child treating his staff like slaves and inviting a whole lot of conflict and problems to the site, most of my friends have decided to leave the platform and move to Cohost or Mastodon. But it’s looking a lot more like this isnt going to be the best place for me, especially for sharing my thoughts on games and stuff.

The 280 character limit was already starting to do me in for some of the games I wanted to share, so I figured hey, why not just move all my recs to a blog instead.

So thats what I did.

I’ll do a writeup about each of the games I’ve recomended on that thread today, but then after that, things will slow down and new games only added when I play them.

For each game I recomend, I’ll provide the name of the game, the places that it can be accessed, the price at the time of writing, and my thoughts on the game and why I think you might like it.

This is a recomendations blog, not a review blog. I do play a fair amount of stinkers, games where I get 45 minutes in to decide that its actually not that fun or interesting to me. Now by no means does this mean a game is bad or that you wouldn’t like it, it just means it didn’t hold me enough to want to keep going. Those games wont make it onto this list.

I also wont be giving any ratings to the games I play in most cases, because while some games are better than others, I don’t really want the wrath of the Capital G Gamers coming down on me for giving Pokemon S/V a 6/10 “Just make BW again kappa,” or rating Grand Theft Auto V release number 17 for the GameSphere a 8/10 “Too many rereleases, and online login still slow af.” I hope this is understandable.

Anyways, if yall wanna follow me, the easiest way is to probably add this site’s RSS Feed to whichever feed reader you use.
