For those who have been with me through December, while I attempted to pad out my catalogue, thank you so much, but the content is gonna slow down a little bit now. I’ll aim to put out 1-3 reviews every 2 weeks, but I’m not going to hold myself to that strictly.
The last month has been super fun for me though. 31 games, of which 5 are AAA, 1 is an arcade release, and the rest are indies, and while there were a few scheduling hiccups (Thank you LightSpeed Cache, never again lmao.) and a couple of late articles due to Christmas crunch helping us to thouroughly lose track of time, I’m proud of myself for getting out an article every day regardless. If any of them helped you to find new games to play, then I’m glad, and thank you for trusting my judgement ❤.
As I said to start with, I’m going to slow down the amount of reviews I am gonna do, both for my own mental health sake, and for the sake of my back catalogue of games. I’ll still post reviews from that back catalogue, as well as recommending new games that I’ve played recently (regardless of medium, I’ll post that review of Nomi Factory eventually I swear.) But to be honest, I’m not like a professional reviewer who’s played thousands of games, so my catalogue of games to write about is already pretty weak. Hopefully that’ll change.
Hopefully with the new year, all three of us will eventually be doing better in the mental health department, and I’m sure Lilla and Nessie will want to write about games like Turing Complete and Halo Reach, so when they’re ready to start writing I’ll hand them the wheel!
